Ways to contact Mrs. Masse:   Leave a note on my desk in Room 127

Phone:  School voice mail: 522-6362

Email: coreene.masse@bsd7.org

Another great web page to bookmark is the powerschool site  - parents can access student assignments, grades, attendance, etc. online at ps.bozeman.k12.mt.us

Materials you will need:

CJMS Agenda (purchase at the school on schedule pick-up day Aug 18 or whenever you enroll), notebook paper, section of your 3-ring binder for social studies (or a separate notebook or folder), pencils, pen.  You will need to cover your text book - a paper grocery sack works best.

Sometimes we use crayons, markers, scissors, protractors, colored pencils and you can bring your own or share the ones we have in class.

**Wooden pencils are recommended. Mechanical pencils are not recommended. Replacement lead is NOT available from your teacher.  Erasable pens are NOT pencils.

I love skiing, playing the piano, flute, and guitar, and trying new things. Some of my favorite foods are popcorn, brownies, and Mexican food. My BS degree is in Elementary Education with a music specialty and additional emphasis in math and science. I am also certified as a K-12 Reading Specialist. I have a Master's Degree in Elementary Education with a specialty in middle school teaching. I LOVE teaching middle school students! I also teach at MSU in the University Studies department and I supervise student teachers.

Parents are my students' most important teachers. It is crucial that we work together to keep communication lines open and help these wonderful young people learn. Please contact me with any concerns or questions as soon as they arise. Parents are invited to visit our classroom any time!

In this picture I'm at that step at the Lewis and Clark Caverns where the elevation is 5,280 feet above sea level. I grew up inthe "Mile High City" in Colorado (well, its greater metro area
anyway...) Have you been there, too?
